ESL (English as a Second Language) Instructor
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver ESL lessons (Beginner to Intermediate)
Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
Create worksheets, assessments, and interactive learning activities
Track attendance and student progress
Collaborate with the Program Coordinator on student needs
Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or related field (preferred)

TESOL/TEFL certification is a plus

Experience teaching adults or ESL learners

Strong communication, patience, and cultural sensitivity

DMV Class Instructor
Job Summary:
Teach students to prepare for the DMV written permit test and provide guidance for behind-the-wheel readiness.
Responsibilities:
Conduct DMV preparation classes (rules, signs, laws)
Create practice tests and learning materials
Assist students with DMV forms and appointments
Support students through test preparation and success tracking
Skills & Requirements:
Strong knowledge of traffic rules and DMV regulations
Teaching/tutoring experience preferred
Excellent communication and patience with adult learners
Bilingual abilities (English + Dari/Pashto/Spanish) are a plus
Valid driver’s license and clean record
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Program Coordinator
Job Summary:
Organize and oversee programs such as ESL classes, DMV training, and community support services.
Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule programs and classes
Supervise instructors, volunteers, and student registrations
Coordinate communication with participants and community partners
Manage attendance records, reports, and logistics
Assist with program outreach, social media, and events
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Education, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Experience working in nonprofits or community services preferred
Ability to multitask and work with diverse populations
Proficiency in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Administrative Officer
Job Summary:
Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage emails, phone calls, schedules, and front desk tasks
Maintain files, student records, and databases
Assist with budgeting, invoices, and documentation
Support meetings, events, and outreach projects
Prepare letters, reports, and correspondence for staff and donors
Skills & Requirements:
High school diploma required; Associate/Bachelor’s preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Prior administrative or nonprofit experience is a plus
